Each year, SAD 44 receives federal funding through the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). For the upcoming 2026–2027 school year, our preliminary allocation is $314,831.18.
As part of the grant process, we welcome and value public comment on how these funds are utilized.
How these funds support our students:
- Academic Intervention: As in previous years, the majority of this money funds salaries for our dedicated Title I staff, who provide vital math and reading support to students.
- Student Attendance & Well-Being: A portion of this year’s funding is earmarked for initiatives to help improve student attendance rates.
- Essential Resources: Funds will also provide critical school supplies and other needed resources directly to students experiencing housing instability or homelessness.
We want to hear from you!
All community feedback will be reviewed and considered before the grant is finalized and submitted to the state.
Please visit our Title Information Page to view a more detailed report and access the public comment form. The feedback form will remain open through July 15, 2026.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support of SAD 44 students!
