Ed Tech positions

Ed Tech I, II or III positions: Anticipated needs for special education services for the 2025-2026 school year.

Adult & Community Education Director

Position available 07/01/2025. Special Education Teachers / Evaluator

MSAD #44 is accepting applications for Special Education teachers for the 2025-2026 school year, positions dependent on FY'26 budget approval. Positions available K-5 at Crescent Park School and Grades 6-8 at Telstar Middle School. Athletic Trainer

MSAD #44 is accepting applications for an Athletic Trainer for Telstar Middle/High School. Position is for the 2025-26 school year, dependent on FY'26 budget approval. Applicants need to submit the teacher application form to MSAD #44 with other supporting documents. EOE

Math Teacher

 Grade 6 Math teacher at Telstar Middle School. Van Drivers and Student Monitors on Van, Regular and Substitute

MSAD #44 is accepting applications for Van Drivers and Student Monitors to drive vans, ride on vans, regular and substitute. Minimum requirements is an "Approval License" from the Maine Dept of Education. Applicants need to submit an Approval application form to DOE ($15 fee) and register on the DOE Certification web page for a background check which includes fingerprints ($55 fee). License is valid for five (5) years and minimum to work in Maine's public schools. Please submit the Support Staff application to MSAD #44 with other supporting documents. EOE

Student Monitor positions are available within the Special Education department at district schools in the classrooms (K-12), for after-school assistance and/or for transportation monitors. Appropriate Ed Tech Authorization license required from Maine Dept of Education . School Bus Drivers
Location: district-wide

School bus drivers. These are school year positions. Always need substitute school bus drivers. We are looking for a responsible, caring and positive team player. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Maine CDL with an “S/P” endorsement, a clean driving record for the last 3 years, have a clean criminal record, and the ability to work in a flexible and challenging environment. Training may be provided if you do not hold a CDL with an “S/P” endorsement.

Substitute Custodians, Substitute Food Service workers and Substitute School Bus Drivers

Custodial and Food Service applications should be submitted to the MSAD #44 Superintendent’s Office.  Substitutes are needed on a regular basis. Bus Driver applications should be submitted to the Transportation Supervisor at the Bus Garage.
